Nuova Commerciale Siciliana Ltd was established on May 9th 1979 to deal with wholesale trade of cold cuts and cheeses, by a group of associates who already had an adequate knowledge of the products concerned thanks to their family deeply rooted experience on the field and thus possessing the know-how needed for a successful operational take off of the business.

Our company started up as a "traditional wholesaler" and then moved forward to new and more advanced business management structures, focusing its attention on services that may go with the products that we offer and focusing also on the enhancement of the local resources (ricotta cheese, pecorino cheese, caciocavallo cheese, etc.), always combining tradition with business innovation. Our company has developed both on the local territory and on the mainland, in northern Italy above all, and today our goal is to develop overseas as well.
Our dairy products, guaranteed by the "Formidoro" trademark, are exported on the London market and on the German one. We address a particular care to the ageing process of the pecorino cheese, which takes place in properly equipped and authorized premises. Furthermore, we take into great consideration the local products so that we can enhance wholesomeness and typicality.
An additional line of business that we offer is "vacuum-packed manufacturing" of cheeses which is addressed to always wider and more elaborate market niches. Our business strategy is anyway based on a careful customer screening: this gives us the opportunity of offering a broader range of services and setting up a business diversification, targeting at products of the highest and highest quality.
We are tremendously aware that the best services are achieved by listening to customers. Innovative products and services are not enough in order to be true competitors, if they do not go along with an efficient customer service management.
